Bringing together the Caribbean’s top young talents, CARIFTA is CARIFTA is the region’s largest aquatic competition, welcoming young female and male swimmers aged 11 to 18.This edition will feature three disciplines :
- Swimming
- Artistic Swimming
- Open Water
Overview of the competition venues
The swimming events of the the CARIFTA Aquatics Championships 2026 will take place at two exceptional venues, specially adapted to host international aquatic competitions. These facilities will offer optimal conditions for both athletes and spectators.
Pierre Samot Community Aquatic Centre, Le Lamentin
Located in Le Lamentin about 25 km from Sainte-Luce hotels, Pierre Samot Community Aquatic Centre is a modern complex dedicated to high-level training and competition. It features:
- An Olympic-size 50 m pool (10 lanes)
- A 25 m training pool (6 lanes)
- A leisure pool, suitable for introductory activities and relaxation
Designed to meet international standards, this aquatic center is fully equipped to host major events, including the CARIFTA Aquatics Championships 2026.
Anses d’Arlet Coastal Area
Located on the south-west coast of Martinique, about 25 km from Sainte-Luce hotels, the city of Arlet Anses is renowned for its exceptional seascapes. This authentic village offers beautiful beaches and outstanding swimming conditions. Anses d’Arlet coastal area is an ideal site for open swimmingvalued for its crystal-clear waters, marine biodiversity, and opportunities for snorkeling and exploring seagrass beds and natural reefs.
